A new venture. How exciting. I am happy to be a part of this new Internet project, and welcome you to my very own page. For those of you who have been loyal readers of AbracaDACRI over on our sister site, Magic Web Channel, I hope you will continue to follow along, and now add Vegas Inside Tips to your list of favorite websites you visit.

Be sure to register (subscribe) now, while its free. Anyone who subscribes will never have to pay for any of the services and benefits, even if we decide to charge money to subscribe at some point in the future.

Of course, there's no obligation to subscribe, this site is completely free anyway. But you'll be missing out on a bunch of free stuff and cool offers that will be available only to subscribers.

When Mister Big (no relation to the character on "Sex in the City") first invited me to get involved here, I was more than a little sceptical. After all, there are already so many web sites that talk about Las Vegas, what was so special about Vegas Inside Tips?

When I saw the list of contributors, and the initial list of the esteemed Panel of Advisors, I became interesting in discussing this further.

This is not just another collection of the same old information that can be found on many other sites, the mission of Vegas Inside Tips, as it was explained to me, was to provide visitors with a place to get honest assessments of the true values, the best shows, the hotels to stay in (and which ones to avoid), the best places for food, and other "Inside Tips" that only people who are truly in the know (and locals) would be aware of.

Vegas Inside Tips. We're much more than just a website, we are a DIGITAL MAGAZINE. It contains articles of interest to tourists and locals alike, with many exclusive features not found anywhere else.

And to be able to work with one of my favorite writers, Bobbie Katz, who is a well-known and highly respected journalist, if a great thrill. She has been covering the entertainment world for as long as I can remember.I have been enjoying her writing ever since I first moved to California in the late 70's.

I have seen some of her articles that she is working on. She has a lot of cool surprises planned for future editions of Vegas Inside Tips. You don't want to miss any of them. Her latest is sort of a cross section of some of the best (and little known) Inside Tips of places to go and people to see here in Vegas. Check it out here.

Mister Big pursuaded me to act as the official "Web Host" of this site, and for that, I am honored to serve. (The money helped convince me, too. Thank you, Mister Big).

In addition to writing this column, I will be adding other articles, interviews and even some reviews from time to time. I also will continue my mini-movie reviews that people seem to enjoy, and will give you updates about the world of magic and Las Vegas magicians (no secrets, just good clean gossip, rumor and occasional facts).

This week, my first show review appears, and its not pretty. It is hard to be positive all the time, especially when you have the distinct feeling that "I've seen it all before" swirling around in your head. To read my review of "Hans Klok, The Beauty of Magic", go here.
